Wow! What a game! Hoover trailed by ten going into the fourth quarter, but rallied to overcome the deficit. Acually, Hoover never lead until 1:30 left to play. On third and long from around the Vestavia 25, Ross Wilson found a wide open receiver for the go-ahead touchdown. On the ensuing drive, Vestavia fumbled, and Hoover recovered. That was all she wrote.
I was not surprised. Champions always find a way to win. I guess that is the difference between Hoover and Vestavia. One is a great, 6A power house. The other is a dynasty.
