Success… but not with my web page

Yes, my web site is still screwed up.  When you navigate to andypalys.com, you are SUPPOSED to be forwarded to this blog, which is actually andypalys.wordpress.com.  GoDaddy just can’t seem to get that right.  I literally call them EVERY day, and they keep saying, “The change will take effect in 24 hours.”  That crap is getting old.  I can’t transfer my domain again for sixty days, and I have about decided to ditch GoDaddy.  So far, I think GoDaddy sucks worse than 1&1 did.

I digress.

I finally finished Gears of War.  Not since The Legend of Zelda over twenty years ago have I been so immersed in a video game.  (Cut me some slack.  I am a self-admitted geek.)  Not even Halo or Halo 2 got me like Gears of War.  It’s hard to explain.  There is just something about that game.  I guess I need to renew my XBOX Live membership, because now I am ready for on-line play!  🙂

  1. Andy, here’s a script you can put on your server that will redirect it to andypalys.wordpress.com. save it in a text file as .htaccess and upload it to your htdocs folder. the 404.html page is a way to make your own personalized error page or you can leave that line out. maybe it’ll help until godady fixes it.

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^andypalys.com$
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://andypalys.wordpress.com/$1 [R=301,L]
    ErrorDocument 404 https://andypalys.wordpress.com/404.html
    Options +Indexes
    IndexOptions -FancyIndexing
