WOW!! Becky and I just returned from an awesome time at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. If you haven’t seen a NASCAR race in person, I highly recommend it. If you can, pick up some night race tickets to Bristol. There is nothing quite like sitting with 160,000 other people watching 43 cars race at speeds over 120 miles per hour around a half-mile track. My adrenaline is raising again…
Well, we still have no air conditioning, so we are headed back to my in-laws’. Once things have settled down, I’ll post some pictures from the event. Oh, in case you were wondering, Matt Kenseth won both the Friday night Busch Grand National race and the Saturday night Nextel Cup race. He drives for Jack Roush, which means he drives a Ford. That means I don’t like him. 😐
